Smith & Wesson 625 - Model of 1989 -- Clark Custom Tuned -- 45 ACP
The Smith & Wesson 625 was the king of competition revolvers before the 8-shot N Frames came along, a long time favorite of Jerry Miculek. That’s a interesting tie in to this particular 625, as Jerry married Kay Clark, of the Clark Custom empire, herself also an accomplished competitive shooter! This 625 went to Clarks for a tune up and customization in 1997. Work done included an action job, chamfer charge holes, fit with Miculek Competition grip, fit with orange insert front sight, and white outline rear sight. As you can imagine, this ‘package’ was largely influenced by Jerry, and it is a mighty nice action job. This gun has lived a charmed life and was not raced hard.
