The 5-Shot 44 Caliber L-Frame has always been an appealing way to carry a 44 Special. Smith introduced these big-bore babies in December of 1996, this one shipped in March of 1997. This no-dash 696 has forged internals, no lock, and comes in it’s original box wearing the original Uncle Mikes Spegel design grips. This gun exhibits minimal minor carry/use wear in the stainless finish. Action, timing and lockup are great, bore is clean as well!
