~1932 Smith & Wesson 38/44 HD - 5 Inch - Shooter
Oh the tales this old girl could tell! Out of Texas comes this depression-era 6-gun. Sure it is a little ratty and reblued, but it is clear looking at it, this gun was someone’s right-hand for a number of years. The 38-44 Heavy Duty revolver was an instant favorite of Lawmen, chambered for 38 Special, but loaded to near magnum pressures it would defeat most car doors and windows. This gun wears a set of post war magnas, and an old reblue. It was clearly carried quite a bit after the refinish, and shot a good bit, I wager someone was truly married to this iron for some time. The story is lost to time, but the gun should still be a fair shooter, clean bright bore and chambers. Hard to buy a pre-war N Frame for this kind of money!
