Hilton Yam is a retired FBI Special Agent, accomplished competitive shooter, firearms instructor, and the founder of 10-8 Performance (Founded 2006), a company specializing in premium 1911 components, sights, and duty-grade pistol work. He has plenty of practical, real-world expertise with the 1911 platform, gained from decades of law enforcement use (FBI 1998-2019), competition, Gunsmithing, and training focused on hard-use reliability. This pistol is one of his elusive Alpha-Phonetic ‘named’ builds, considered to be some of his most impressive works. There were only 8 of these pistols ever sold by Hilton, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Golf, and this one India. This pistol is the pinnacle of hard-use tactical 1911 from the early 2000’s, it features many of Yam’s custom parts and touches. This pistol sadly never saw any Duty use, and remains super clean in the original bag from Hilton, with the original paperwork and 4 Black Stainless CMC mags. Great opportunity to get a rare build built by a real student and operator of the platform.
