A classic carry gun from the late 1950s, this Smith & Wesson J Frame 38 Special has travelled some miles with her former owner, but remains very tight and proper mechanically. Classic case of carried a lot and shot a little. This Flat Latch gun has the less common square butt - Snub nose combination. The original numbered grips have been drilled for what I have to assume was a lanyard/leash of sorts, note the frame is not modified for this. Cool vintage Smith that surely has some tales to tell!
