Hamilton Bowen is a benchmark of excellence in custom pistolsmithing, specifically in revolver work. Building a reputation over the course of the last 45+ years for excellence. This revolver visited Hamilton’s shop in 2005 for the RS05 Caliber Conversion Package, where Hamilton rechambered the 357 Magnum cylinder to 44 Special, with proper spec and throats, also the 357 barrel was re-bored and re-rifled to 44 caliber. Also done was a litany of fine options to include:

-B300 - Shorten Factory barrel from 6.5-5”

-B310 - Custom Front sight

-B421 - Target length ejector rod and housing, shortened to fit flush with 5” barrel

-B250 - Sight regulation with Bowen rear sight

-RS01 - Standard Issue action tune, OS base pin etc

-B430 - Colt style blackpowder chamfer on cylinder

- Refit Grip Frame to main frame

-Polished Blue finish

-Deck Grip frame, Fit Paul Persinger Ivory Micarta grips

This gun balances and points so beautifully, something special about the 5” barrel with full length Ejector. Gun has seen very little use since returning from Hamilton’s shop. This revolver has the original Old model action, with no transfer bar.
