Classic training rifle here! Uncle Sam ordered ~58,000 of these during the height of WWII, from my research this one was delivered mid 1943. These rifles were used to train US recruits on rifle marksmanship, this rifle is in very good condition with a neat rack number in the stock! CMP parkerized a number of these in the mid-late 1980s and sold them, this is one of those rifles. Bright bore, smooth and tight action, complete with military leather sling, one mag and original Mossberg sights.
