What a Handsome combination of base gun, work, and feature set. This gun really personifies the classic heirloom grade Colt carry gun to my eye. The base gun a 1951 Colt Commercial 1911 Government Model in 45, clean classic roll marks. The work by Ted needs no introduction, classic touches, clean lines, prime-grade execution. The Feature set on this one really set it apart from the crowd, a fully custom thumb safety dreamed up by ted and the client, it just looks and feels so right. Also note the beavertail, speed bump reimagined into the gentle sweeping design you see here. Yost Sights, Gold bead front, Kart Match barrel, all best-grade parts throughout and topped with beautiful Spegel grips with Colt medallions really cap this build. Comes as shown with Boyt case, build sheets, note from Ted when he re-certified the gun in 2021, spare extractor. Gun has been shot, but certainly not heavily, no carry wear of note.
