Jason Burton builds some of the very best custom Colts out there, and Clint Smith one of the Nation’s preeminent firearms and tactical mindset trainers. Naturally when these 2 gentlemen put their heads together, and laid out ‘the’ spec for Clint’s personal perfect 1911, Jason decided people needed the opportunity to own one of their own. Jason, over the course of a few years built 25 of these Clint Smith Specail’s, this is #4, and was delivered in 2015. The gun is wonderfully built, and has actually been used as Jason and Clint intended, though it’s round count is likely sub 1000, it has ridden in a holster for some time and shows some holster wear, has a wonderful glow to it!
