A really pinnacle piece from Richard Heinie’s long resume. This was inspired by Dick’s own battle with cancer, he wanted to build the very best gun he could, and sell it with all proceeds going to St Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital. The resultant gun is really wonderfully fit and nicely finished. See the notes about the build, this gun raised $10K in that original sale, then the buyer doubled down and Sold it again, once again all proceeds going to St Jude’s raising an additional $7500! the pistol remains unfired but did lose its Ivory grips in the past 15 years, arrived here with Wood grips. To keep the roll alive I have added a set of Ivory from my personal inventory, and will donate $500 from this sale to St Jude’s, and encourage the buyer to donate $500 to match it. This gun has a special serial number to commemorate the fundraising effort, STJ2010!
