This Mike LaRocca comp gun is bad to the bone! Mike LaRocca, cut his teeth building Pachmayr Combat Specials in SoCal, he was Pachmayr's Lead Pistolsmith for a period in the early 80s. Later he moved back East and hung out his own shingle and continued to build top shelf 1911's. This 1988 Colt Delta Elite is a great example. He welded up and refit the Colt Barrel and fit a custom 2-port Coned comp to the muzzle. Bomar rear sight, frame to slide tightened up and refit. Early Ed Brown High Grip Beavertail beautifully fit, swinging on an ambi safety. Check out the Pachmayr thumbsheild! Superb front strap checkering with a high cut, nice big magwell fit, this gun is ready to hunt or slay some bowling pins! Gun is stamped with 'LaRocca' on the frame. Gun is in great shape and still pretty snug and super smooth. Great trigger and feel. Gun comes as shown with one mag and. I had to run a mag thru this one and it is a blast to shoot in every sense of the word!
