Really impressive, original, unmolested M1911 from World War I, mfg in 1917. The gun exhibits a bit of wear, we would expect from a theatre-used example, no ugly rust leads me to believe the gun was well cared for during its time in service and the century since. This gun looks to be complete, proper, original to my examination. Huge bonus with this gun is 2 proper mags, and a 1918 dated rig, 2 web belts, a leather holster ( Check out the name and other illegible info written inside!) and a canvas mag pouch. What a wonderful, historical example! I will try to decipher the name in the holster to see what we might find out about her former owner. Bore on this gun is an easy 9 out of 10, bright and clean.
