Really unique custom Colt here, this is built on a 1982 38 Super Govt frame, similar vintage Colt Combat Commander slide. Has a long list of custom work done, but I do not know by whom.

- Jim Boland style super high grip, shop-made beavertail grip safety, not active

-Hand checkered trigger guard

-Hand Checkered front strap

-Flattened and checkered MSH

-Beveled magwell, with Wilson? clip on magwell

-Nice tuned action

-Herrett Skip line grips

This gun sinks into the hand and feels very flat in recoil, due in large part to the good sharp checkering and the super high beavertail. Gun comes as shown with a spare spring and 4 mags. Ran like a top when I shot a mag thru it today.
