Nice simple carry gun build by the Mad Scientist, Jim Boland. This gun features his signature shop-made beavertail, his Combat rear sight, which gives a sight picture like a Bomar, but is a rugged, fixed unit. Extended controls, Boland trigger with excellently tuned internals. Full length dual-spring guide rod with built in buffer. Lowered and flared ejection port in Bolands style. Nicely beveled magwell, front sight soldered in a slot in the slide. Nice workup and nice finish on the slide. This gun was likely built by Jim in the 80s, base gun dates to 1980.
