Groovy Retro Colt Govt model, built in stages by 2 great shops!

To start with, the gun is an early 2000’s Stainless Colt 70 Series reintroduction, great base guns.

In 2017 it was sent to Novaks for the fitting of a Kart Match barrel, Novaks Match bushing, Crown barrel, and reliability work.

Then in 2018 it went to Jim Garthwaite’s shop for:

-Serrate front strap 25 LPI

-Fit and blend MSH, serrate to match

-Fit Retro U-Notch rear sight

-Cut for and install Novak tritium front sight

-EGW HD Firing pin stop

-Install Wilson Ejector

-Lower and dress ejection port

-Fit Harrison Mag catch

-Fit Slide stop

-Deburr/ carry bevel all

-Polish flats, refinish

-Test fire (See 25 yd target)

-Refit Thumb safety

Then, finally it went back to Novaks shop in 2018 for the install and blend of the retro grip safety, refinish frame matte stainless.

Well put together gun with some modern amenities and a retro look. Comes as shown with one mag and all the invoices etc.
