If you are looking for a really nice, Early WWII Colt USGI M1911A1, this one would be worth a good look. This piece, manufactured in 1942, bears the WB inspection marking, gun retains all its original parts including hollow-back grips, Serial matching slide and proper barrel. Gun shows signs of being issued with minor carry wear, also note the very faint SSN/Service # lightly scribed in the front strap, as well as the initials scribed on the magazine, I wish I could tell her whole story! This year is very hard to find in this high, correct, and matching condition.
