Nicely tuned up version of one of Colt’s most popular limited runs ever, the Wiley Clapp 1911. This one is serial #39 from that run! The original owner sent it in to Rob Schauland, formerly of Alchemy Custom Weaponry, to have it customized, and while not all the work is outlined in the invoice pictured, I know ACW did the work. This gun has had a match bushing fit, 10-8 rear sight fit, Wilson thumb safety, S&A grip safety fit. gun also has an extended ejector fit, and the extractor, ramp, and throat cleaned up for reliable work. You can see the letter from the client to Rob, this went in for the initial work, then back again for more tuning. Gun has a great trigger job on it and is finished in black Baercoat. Topped with a handsome set of Esmerelda grips. Comes as shown with original box, sleeve, mags, Wiley Clapp grips, and is in very clean condition!
