Ted requires no introduction, his career and refinements of the American Sidearm are well known. This fine custom built on a 1978 70 Series Colt Government Model 1911 in 45 ACP. It features all the top shelf parts and modifications we know and love from Ted’s catalog. Custom Sights, flat top with arrow pattern, French border. Kart NM barrel and match bushing, welded and refit frame to slide. Note the Yost signature slide stop modifications, and perfect 40LPI hand checkered frame and MSH. This Colt has a short trigger fit, Wilson beavertail with the lip polished as Ted does. Gun is fit with a set of beautifully figured Elephant Ivory grips, hot salt blued finish, with Nitre blued pins/screws. I have a build sheet en-route for this one, gun looks near unfired inside, with only very minor handling marks externally. Comes as shown with one Wilson mag, and will include the build sheet when it arrives.
