Really outstanding piece of work from one of Texas’s great gunsmiths. Alan has been quietly tuning and building awesome custom sixguns in his shop, Single Action Service, for decades. This little Custom Ruger Vaquero is a great hip-iron. Full work up on the sheets from Alan, but I will touch on the highlights:

-Custom fit and finish Chig’s Walnut grips

-Uniform chamber throats

-Blackpowder chamfer

-Action work to include fitting a bisley hammer

-Custom front sight

-#5 Base pin

-Weld up topstrap, blend at barrel junction, machine for and install S&W sight

Just a handy little 45, 4 5/8” barrel, feels great! Gun is in very good shape with minor wear. Comes with unlabled Ruger box and Harton’s ppwk. Great custom gun with no wait! As you can see Alan has a great hand and a great eye, the barrel/frame junction is lovely on this gun.
