These 3” Smith 625’s in 45 Colt are very tough guns to find. Ordered by Lew Horton Dist in 1998, they received 555 units, with some also shipped to other dist’s. This particular example is very early, January of 1998 MFG. It has also gone back to S&W for a Performance Center Action job and taller sights, the action is superb, the smooth combat trigger rolls smoothly in DA. The chambers also look like they were chamfered slightly. This little N Frame would make a great hunting backup, carry gun, or addition to any S&W Collection. It remains in great shape, with only minor wear in the matte Stainless finish, the grips are a great pair of Kim Ahrends boot grips. Comes as shown with original box, ppwk, and invoice from the Custom Shop for the work done.
