These are great pieces both as shooters and collectors. The S&W Performance Center was putting out some great pieces in the 1990s, many is unique and low production # like this one! Lew Horton ordered these 657-4’s with 6.5” full lug barrels, special made removable compensator to tame recoil, they also included a muzzle cap if you want to use it without the comp. PC tuned action, chamferred charge holes, BP chamfer on cylinder, great hunting setup here! This run for LH totaled 202 guns per my research, 115 with the HRC prefix (THIS IS SERIAL #4!), and 87 with the HCH prefix .

This example is very clean in original box with PPWK, very mild signs of use.
