What a neat time capsule, from very early (2006) in Jason’s career arch. Jason arrived in Arizona in Dec 2005, started work at Yost-Bonitz, this gun was there waiting for him when he arrived. The pistol is from the collection of long-time Gunwriter and LEO Rob Garrett. Rob wanted Jason to build it, and he received it from Jason at SHOT show in Jan 2007. This pistol is a rare opportunity to have an early piece of Jason’s work, from the very brief window he worked under the Yo-Bo banner before he and Ted started Heirloom Precision. Per Jason this pistol was displayed at SHOT 2007, and given back to Rob after/at the show. Rob bought the base gun new from Cylinder & Slide, so what we have is a true one-owner piece from New base gun to finished build. Comes as shown with 1* bag, original SA box, one Novak mag, ppwk from Rob, and C&S’s original invoice!

This is not a super spartan 1* build as most were, but has the YB professional rear sight in a Novak DT, and the front is a tritium (dead) unit in a DT, also see the speed-bump on that grip safety? Custom grafted on and beautifully shaped by Jason to aide Rob in deactivating the grip safety. Great classic fighting gun here, and while not a full-house build, one with a great history and in great condition.
