This show stopper built on a Colt Custom Shop reissue MKIV 70 Series, arguably Colt’s best quality base gun, is probably built just the way I would order one from Ted to carry. This Colt left Hartford in 2009, and Ted masterfully reimagined it into this Pinnacle Grade build in the 20teens.

This Colt remained in Ted’s personal collection, as a shop show piece until he asked me to help find it a forever home. This Colt has a great build sheet, with Ted’s sights, Flat top and arrow pattern, perfectly hand checkered, ball cuts, Ted’s perfected round-butt treatment. This gun has been shot, albeit lightly by Ted. The Grips are real show stoppers, in highly figured and perfectly matched Walnut. The ring hammer, the cherry on top. This gun is in top shape, any round count, and that is pretty low, came while in Ted’s hands. Comes as shown with Boyt case and build sheet.
