I am rehoming this gun for it’s third owner, I sold it to him some years ago, very nice piece with only 3 Owners, 2 of them being my customers!

Pretty impressive condition, the gent that first sent it to me purchased it from Cohan in the early 80s. It looks to have been carried a little but really quite nice. Note the slide is marked Combat Commander, curious no? Well in all likelihood Armand felt this slide 'fit' to this frame better, rumors state this was a somewhat common occurrence at his shop. Regardless, they have lived together over 40 years now and seem to be 'married'. Perfectly welded up Colt barrel, tight bushing, Swenson's trademark sights, Rarely seen single sided Swenson TS, barrel positioner, tightened slide to frame, hardchrome everything.... See included build sheet, typed up on super fine paper, 3 Chromed mags.

Comes as shown, a great example from one of the most important Smiths ever to touch a 1911
