Rare find, the 357 Maximum Ruger Blackhawk was only in production 2 years from my reading, 83-84. Ruger’s attempt to corner the market on Ram-Killing Silhouette shooting guns, this stretch-frame blackhawk housed the New 357 Maximum Cartridge. Ruger and Remington worked to bring this round to market just for these guns, it is essentially a ‘Magnumed’ 357 Magnum, .300” longer case than the original Magnum the Maximum was perfect for launching the heavy-for-caliber 200 Grain bullets. This gun is gently used with minor wear and a couple very fine freckles. Action, trigger, and bore are great.
