Really slick Scout rifle built by Andy Manson, MountainDog Gunsmithing out of Chama NM. This rifle is built on an early flat bolt Ruger M77 Action with a custom 19” barrel fit and chambered for 350 Rem Mag, a fantastic cartridge that will duplicate a 35 Whelen in a short action. The rifle rides, nicely bedded in a Bell & Carlson fiberglass stock, wears a custom Scout mount made out of a Ruger #1 quarter rib atop which is mounted a Leupold Scout Scope. The stock is setup and equipped with a Ching Sling and QD mounts. The trigger is a finely tuned Timney unit, whole rig comes in under 7.5# on my scale and shoots very very well. I have about 50 rounds thru this rifle, and it was like new when I received it. I have made easy hits out to 300 yards with this gun, firing 250 grain bullets. I have brass and dies available for additional $$ if the buyer needs them.
