Really outstanding ‘Modern Classic’ from the hands of Jim Milks, Jim has been building fantastic guns since the early 90s, starting in a Tool & Die shop, then hiring on with Geo Smith at EGW Guns, and eventually opening his own shop, Innovative Custom Guns in 2009. This gun is built on a rare and interesting base gun, the Colt Custom Shop Special Combat Government Carry model. This gun was one of the factory checkered ones, which are quite scarce. Comes with original box, target, and paperwork. Jim doesn’t do build sheets, but here are the specs:

-Full carry bevel
-Reliability package
-Trigger job with premium parts
-Wilson BP single sided thumb safety
-Extended tactical mag release
-DLC (w polished flats)finish entire gun
-Frame to slide welded and refit
- Install and blend Stan Chen Gen2 magwell.
-Install and fit Kart barrel with EGW Match bushing
-French border
-Ball cuts
-Reverse crown barrel
-Fit and install new EGW grip safety
-Fit and install slide stop
-Fit and install new extractor and ejector
-Harrison Medium trigger
-Remachine Colt cocking serrations to carry thru IOS iron sight plate

-Nighthawk IOS with RMR plate (RMR Plate has some finish wear, but was not used on this gun
-Delete 80s safety

The fit and finish on this gun is impeccable, and it looks great with the premium Jon Aho - High Figure grips. Mag tubes are also DLC finished.
