What an outstanding gun! Conflicting answers across the web as to how many 32 Caliber OMT's were mfg, but estimates range from 750-1500 total production from ~1938-1942. This one should fall right in the middle in 1939. The gun was Fully customized by the great DW Kings Gun Sight shop, work included a King’s front sight, Kings Micrometer rear sight, Kings Custom Trigger checkered trigger shoe, Kings Cock-eyed hammer, and Kings Short Action conversion, gun is very smooth in DA and SA arguably the smoothest Kings Short Action DA pull I have ever handled. Bore and chambers are bright and clean. The Gun is topped off with a great set of original Walter Roper Extended Target grips, the grips have the gun’s serial# in pencil on the back sides, and a small repair to the thumb shelf. The front sight is missing the Reflector disc, not that it is needed with the red post front blade. The base gun is rare, the pre-war work is as good as it gets, the grips from one of the most important grip-makers of all time! I am sure to miss this one when its gone.
