Spohr Germany L562 Revolver -- 357 Magnum
What a fine example of German manufacturing, this gun is really nicely put together. These guns are 100% machined from barstock and have the brightest, shiniest bores of any handgun I have ever handled.
The story of Spohr Revolvers begins with the German S&W Club 30, established in 1991 when 30 German gunsmiths attended a seminar hosted by Smith & Wesson. This group focused on distributing, servicing, and high-end tuning of S&W revolvers in Germany, emphasizing precision modifications for sporting use.
Thomas Spohr, a key member of Club 30, leveraged this foundation to develop his own revolver line. He studied firearms technology at the historic HTBL Federal Technische school in Ferlach, Austria—a region with over 450 years of gunmaking heritage—and graduated as a Master Gunsmith from the Ehingen school near Stuttgart.
His passion for tuning S&W sporting revolvers evolved into creating original designs, combining German engineering with absolute precision.
Spohr Revolvers officially launched around 2019 for the German market, with expansion to the U.S. beginning in early 2024.
This gun is as-new in box and has a 4” barrel.
