This one is very cool, and clearly owned by a clueful individual who really enjoyed it. The gun remains in original finish with a good bit of honest wear one would expect from a gun of this vintage. The gun is smooth and tight showing it was well cared for. The pre-war S&W Target rear sight, this 2-screw style sight was introduced in approx 1932, so the work was done likely from 1932-1942. The front sight modified to take a pin-in patridge blade. Action is tight and smooth, and while a touch hazy the bore would rate an 8.5+/10 to my eye, should be a fantastic shooter! Comes with a perfectly fitted set of pre war service stocks mounted.
