Ted requires no introduction, his career and refinements of the American Sidearm are well known. This fine custom built on a 1972 70 Series Colt Combat Commander in 38 Super. It features all the top shelf parts and modifications we know and love from Ted’s catalog, with the addition of some fairly rare and awesome options. Custom Front Gold line Sight, flat top with arrow pattern, French border, Bomar style fully adjustable rear sight. Kart NM barrel and match bushing, welded and refit frame to slide. Note the Yost signature slide stop modifications, and the rarely seen 25 LPI hand checkered frame and MSH. The soldered on Yost Proprietary magwell is completely graceful, and adds no additional length or girth to this gun. This Colt has a short trigger fit, Wilson beavertail. Gun is fit with a set of really jaw-dropping English walnut grips made by Ted gun looks near unfired inside, with only very minor handling marks . The Bomar style sight paired with Ted’s handmade grips and magwell really set this gun apart, but it truly stands alone as it is finished completely top to bottom in Birdsong’s Black-T finish. Ted has been a fan of Birdsong’s finish for many years and for good reason, it is an outstanding finish. Comes as shown with one mag, and the build sheet and Boyt case.
