The Caspian Hi-Cap frame was introduced in 1991, as the arms-race for competitive Action Pistol sports was getting super-heated. This slick 38 Super was built by the late master Wayne Bergquist at his FL shop, Glade’s Gun Works. Wayne was no new-comer to building fine competition iron in 1993, he already had well over a decade of building race guns. This pistol has been raced, and is a bit salty looking, but most of the discoloration is the Hardchrome getting worn thru, pistol is still smooth as glass, Nowlin match barrel fit with a 4-port cone compensator, Scope Doctor optic mount with the 90’s classic Tasco. The Checkering work is superb on this one, and the mountain of work on that custom welded and shaped Swenson safety with the thumb shield. Very Nice trigger on this one! Comes with 5 Caspian Mags! I shot this gun and what a hoot, flat as can be, and LOUD as you would expect.
