What a handsome and nicely executed masterpiece here, This 2006 Colt Custom Shop MKIV 70 Series Stainless Govt Model was given a full workup by Mark Morris, completed in 2008. He had this pistol hand engraved by Master Engraver JR French, who was a close friend to Morris. Mark kept this gun as his personal carry gun until a client talked him out of it a couple years later. The pistol is very nicely appointed in what Mark terms his ‘Heirloom Elite’ package. Morris sights, Morris match barrel, this pistol looks and feels great, tight and smooth, great action and ergonomics. The engraving layout and execution is perfect, ideal amount of coverage and style for this type of pistol. This gun being Mark’s carry gun has a couple of light scuffs in the stainless finish, but remains in very well cared for condition. Comes with Morris certificate, Morris Slim grips, Morris catalog, Morris pistol bag, wood grips pictured on the gun, and the handsome Negrini Deluxe Leather case and 2 mags!
