A great way to get a piece worked on by Jim Hoag that is not going to cost Mastergrade money, this Combat Elite was purchased brand new my Jim Hoag’s UPS driver in 2008, who had Jim do some great modifications on it. The gentleman that sent this gun to us has owned it since new, and was Jim’s UPS driver for nearly 20 years. This pistol has it’s original box, and scans of Hoag’s catalog, and a handwritten receipt for some of the work form Hoag. The gun has the following mods done:
-Kart NM Barrel fit
-Hoag’s low mounted BoMar rear sight and fixed front ramp
-Hoag’s sunken serrated flat top
-Swenson Ambi safety
-Trigger job, series 80 delete
-FLGR installed
The gun is not marked by Hoag, as he stopped marking guns in his later years, and this is a very late career project from Hoag, who passed away in 2020.
