Kirk Robinson – Golden Valley Firearms has been building great 1911’s for nearly 20 years. This example is a recent build, on a 1975 Colt Combat Commander, built in 2023. This is a great full house effort with no part or surface or fitment not touched or enhanced. The full build sheet is included and details the work, highlights being Kirk’s nicely executed bob-nose treatment of the slide, custom sights with a white dot front, Chen magwell, Silver DLC finish with polished slide flats. Also has a full compliment of great machine work, flat top and serrate, 25LPI checkering, French border, heavy carry bevel on the slide, great feeling gun, tight, right and smooth with a Kart ramped NM barrel that Kirk fluted. This gun has minor wear, but remains in great shape, comes as shown with build sheet, one mag, and ebony grips!
