Classic Custom Colt Govt Model 1911 45 ACP — Bomar – Briley Match Barrel – FR07864

Classic 1990’s Combat Auto type build, the base gun a bit of an enigma, a MKIV 70 Series marked slide, that is cut for an 80 Series plunger, the frame is a 1991 vintage Colt Govt Model frame, all 80 Series parts are removed.  They are nicely fit together and pretty snug and smooth.  Front sight is a long dead Tritium unit, rear sight is a nicely mounted Bomar BMCS with tritium bar.  Barrel and bushing are match units from Briley.  Trigger and ignition parts were replaced, gun has a nice 3.75# pull.  Kings Thumb safety, Early Ed Brown or Kings high grip beavertail grip safety.  Front strap is hand checkered, magwell is nicely hand beveled.  Oversized mag catch and a steel flat MSH nicely fit.  Pistol comes as shown with lovely Ebony grips and one mag, don’t know who put this one together but should make someone a great classic looking heater.
