A fantastic workhorse from the bench of Ben Forkin.  For those that don’t know Forkin went to school at Trinidad, then worked under Hamilton Bowen for a number of years.  In 1996 he set out on his own and formed Forkin Arms Custom.  Talked to Ben about this gun, and he was able to find the record on it, he did the work in 1999, work done included:

-Shorten and crown barrel (4.5″)

-Mount front sight and regulate

-Bowen Custom rear sight

-Set cylinder throats to .453″

-Belt Mountain oversize locking base pin

-Action tune, remove endshake

This gun wears a great set of sheep’s horn grips form Tony Kojis, and the short barreled Bisley just feels great.  You very rarely see Ben’s work on the market as they are very highly regarded.  Very mild finish wear, but the gun should be a great addition!  John Taffin wrote up Forkin in Handgunner here: https://americanhandgunner.com/handguns/sixguns-of-ben-forkin/
