Gunsite really shook things up with this, the new generation of Gunsite Service Pistols, the Glock Gunsite Service Pistol (GGSP). Longtime teachers of real guns for real gunmen, large caliber, basic fighting 1911’s has long been their go-to weapon of choice in teaching and shooting. Enter the current environment of both concealed carry and law enforcement where a vast majority of those gun-toter’s do so with a full capacity 9mm often equipped with a red dot sight. Gunsite, aware of this made the move in the 2020’s to not only accept this change but to reinforce it with training and ready-to-carry guns optimized by them. Thus they took the very popular Glock 45 in 9mm and added the appropriate touches, Guns did a great run-down on these guns here: https://gunsmagazine.com/discover/concealed-carry/gunsite-glock-service-pistol/
