World War I Era Colt, perfectly brought back to her original glory by the master restoration crew at Turnbull Restorations in NY.  This Colt shipped Uncle Sam in March of 1918, to put that into perspective, that was just days after the Soviets signed a treaty and exited the War, same month the Spanish Flu Epidemic started with cases in the USA eventually causing 1/3 of the World population to become ill.  March 1918 also saw what would be the last big push by the German forces in the Ludendorff Offensive.  Just 8 months after shipping from Hartford the Allied forces would have signed armistice treaties with all the enemy countries.  This pistol lived the next 108 years before going to Turnbull’s to be perfectly restored, the brushed metal prep, bi-directional polish on frame and other parts, perfect roll marks, its all there.  This pistol is a great piece of Colt and US Small Arms history, comes with one mag, Turnbull letter and leather case, and the Colt Archives letter.
