What a handsome and proper Rimfire rifle here. Kimber, long before 2011’s, Pepperlaunchers, and MIM, made some of the finest bolt action rifles available in Oregon. Originally in Clackamas, they bought another facility in rural Colton OR in 1988, and ceased operations there by the end of 1989, making Colton marked guns extremely scarce. This one is super clean, Deluxe Grade with upgraded wood, checkered Steel buttplate and steel grip cap. This rifle looks to be like new, box does show some age however it all appears to be there. For the Kimber collector these Oregon made rifles are the pinnacle of their catalog, and if you just like fine, classic American made sporting arms, you should have a Kimber 82!
